Pleasant coffee washed by the monsoon.
Notes of nuts and cedar wood, with a slightly chocolatey finish.

Type: 100% Arabica

Origin India.

Cultivation height: approx. 1600 m above sea level

Processing: natural (sun-dried)

This coffee is perfect for a strong, spicy espresso or as a single cup of coffee. It has a distinctly nutty or chocolatey aroma.

This coffee is processed using a very special method. "Monsooning" means that the raw beans are first dried after being picked (by hand), peeled and then filled into coffee sacks (jute). These sacks are then stored openly for the next 8-10 weeks and exposed to the monsoon (wind and weather). During this time, the beans are regularly transferred to new sacks to prevent mold from forming. This form of overall processing is clearly visible in the result of the green coffee beans - they are lighter and much larger than other, usual green coffee beans.

In the past, shipping from India to Germany took several months, and the beans were transported in the open. In order to recreate this taste, the process has been changed to this day.

Recommendation for preparation in a portafilter: 18g in a brewing time of approx. 20-24 seconds. Brewing ratio 1:2, you can also go for a ristretto. Too long a brewing time leads to more bitterness.

Recommended for fully automatic machines, portafilters or as a spicy filter coffee
