Comandante C60 hand mills
The C60 is the latest development from the manufacturer Comandante and, as you would expect from Comandante, is made from the best high-quality materials. It has the largest and most innovative grinder of all Comandante grinders, which is made from high-alloy stainless steel. The grinder body consists of just one block, also made from high-quality stainless steel. Robustness and precision made in Germany, this time with 60mm grinding discs!
The Comandante's grinder
The Comandante C60 comes with the new GX50 Gold Clix grinder adjustment, which allows fine adjustments of outstanding precision even within one preparation method. Whether a coarser grind for filter coffee or a finer grind for an optimal espresso result. The firmly locking click mechanism in the grind adjuster prevents uncontrolled adjustment during grinding and guarantees repeatable settings for all brewing methods. As its name suggests, the C60, in contrast to the C40 hand grinders from Comandante, has 60mm large grinding discs and thus offers a larger grinding surface inside and guarantees an even and fast grinding result.
Best materials processed in the Comandante
As with the C40 hand grinders, the Comandante C60 also comes with two “Bean Jar” grounds containers. One pink glass and one clear polymer glass. Both containers are tasteless, food-safe and can be easily cleaned with hot water. They each have a capacity of 40 grams of coffee. Comandante products are aluminum-free and are made exclusively from stable, safe and food-safe materials such as stainless steel, wood, glass or high-quality polymers.
High-performance polymers are used in some components to make the mill slightly lighter, dimensionally stable and very robust. They are BPA-free and have been extensively tested by recognized control bodies and classified as safe for use in contact with food.
Comandante loves wood. The crank knob of the hand mills is made in the Black Forest and is made of solid oak wood - a solid piece of nature with a beautiful grain that fits perfectly in the hand and works ergonomically and efficiently.
